Back Story:
Having worked with dogs for many years and also having an interest in wolf behaviour, this was a drawing that I wanted to work on. In addition to drawing the wolf, I also wanted to learn how I might create backgrounds. This subject gave me a perfect chance to learn skills that I could use and build upon in future drawings.
Behind the scenes shows part of the layering process used to create drawings with coloured pencils.
