I am a colour pencil artist passionate about capturing the lifelike essence of animals through detailed portraits.

I have always been passionate about animals. At school, I was told I couldn’t draw and that I should drop art as a subject, as I was unlikely to succeed. I didn’t attempt to draw again until a few years ago when I found a wonderful online teacher and joined Bonny Snowdon’s Art Academy. The result is that I have found I can draw. In addition to drawing animals, I am always learning new techniques and tackling different subjects. My portfolio is ever-expanding.

I love seeing the portraits of the animals I draw coming to life before my eyes. I attempt to bring each animal’s personality to life on paper with coloured pencils, from playful pups to serene cats and captivating wildlife.

I consider myself fortunate to have lived with and worked professionally with a variety of species during my lifetime. I endeavour to bring animals to life with colour pencils, capturing every whisker, scale and feather with care.
